Senzushi is one of my favourite Japanese restaurants of Victoria. The sushi rice is beautifully seasoned and the ingredients are always fresh. The portions are good for the price and they have more traditional and authentically japanese menu options that other restaurants do not which is nice. The restaurant is always clean and th service is always top notch. The servers are always pleasant and the food comes quickly even when it is busy. Always super happy after eating here!

It's a good Japanese food place in Victoria. Love the vibe and atmosphere. Service was great but a bit slow which was understandable since they were super busy. The main dishes and sushi rolls are okay. Special rolls are really good there were no sits available so we sat at the sushi bar. But it was okay since the bar table was bigger than normal. overall a 4.5 experience and recommended

If I want to have a decent daily lunch and dinner after heavy work, Sen Zushi would always jump into my consideration the first time. Not only due to its unique classic Japanese atmosphere but also the flavorful food with high quality. Recently, the Roast beef Don and Black COD SAIKYO YAKI have been really impressive to me. The radish sauce of the Roast beef Don like magic to bring the tender beef a much more juicy texture. The whole Don always finished with several blinks. Black COD SAIKYO YAKI would probably be the best grilled fish I have ever tried in Victoria Downtown. It seems that the chips left some dry taste on the tongue, then the fish meat and fat could perform a well dancing. The flavor of the vegetables is the compatible music for the whole dancing. Highly recommended.

One of our favourite Japanese restaurants in downtown Victoria. Authentic Japanese cuisine. We love their sushi and sashimi and tempura, always delicious Their tempura and combos are tasty too. Portions are also generous. We simply love the atmosphere, especially when enjoying a little cup of sake and chat with friends. A great place to have gatherings. Booking recommended, especially at weekends.

Delicious sushi and great service. We highly recommend the negitoro maki roll, as it was our favorite sushi of the night. We enjoyed the kraken and spider rolls as well. Some warm sake was a great pairing on a cold day.

best sushi i’ve ever had! the server was so kind and checked in on us occasionally. i loved that they served us both cold water and hot tea in the beginning, and the food came pretty quickly too. the atmosphere inside was wonderful, and it was nice that the chefs and servers were all japanese as well, adding to the authenticity of the restaurant!

Excellent food that was plated elegantly and extremely tasty, perfectly relaxing and calm atmosphere, with friendly staff. They seemed a bit overwhelmed when I visited, so I did have to wait a bit for my bill, but I could see they were doing their best and appreciated it!
